President Maduro thanks the family members of Brazilian leader João Goulart for solidarity

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, thanked the families of the Brazilian revolutionary leader João Goulart this Wednesday, who expressed their support and solidarity with the Venezuelan People and Government in the face of the aggressions promoted by North American imperialism and the extreme right against the country.

Through his social networks, the Head of State shared a letter sent from Brazil by the João Goulart Institute, whom he recalled “for being a great nationalist leader, historic president overthrown by the CIA (US Central Intelligence Agency), he was a tireless fighter for just causes, who continues to be present with his legacy in the peoples of our America”.

“We will move forward for the respect, sovereignty, independence and peace of our country. Receive my embrace and that of all the people of Bolivar and Chávez,” said the Dignitary in his message in response to the letter.
