President Nicolás Maduro assured that the 18 boys and girls held in detention centers or handed over to temporary custody in the United States must return to Venezuela, as an act of justice and humanity.

“These 18 girls and boys have to return to Venezuela in an act of justice and humanity and I am sure that we are going to unite all of us Venezuelans and Venezuelans, we have a set of initiatives underway,” said the Head of State.

He highlighted how scandalous the detention of Venezuelans has been and the treatment that Nayib Bukele gives to human beings in his detention centers, since recently at a fashion show in Paris, a designer took up this theme to expose the cruel and denigrating treatment.

“In El Salvador, no one has the right to defense, these Venezuelan migrants have never committed any crime, nor in the United States and today they are buried in an absolutely cruel prison system that violates all the international guarantees and laws with which the Republic of Salvador has an obligation to comply,” said the Head of State With Maduro +.

He assured that in the case of these minors Jorge Rodríguez, he is managing before his interlocutors with the United States government for the repatriation requirement for these 18 children between 1 and 9 years old.

“The life and future of 18 boys and girls who have ended up being held in detention centers in the United States is uncertain,” the Head of State denounced during his Con Maduro+ program.
