The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, specified that the fourth line for 2026, aimed at consolidating the advances of the Bolivarian Revolution and guaranteeing the welfare of the Venezuelan people, is to strengthen the development of the Communal Economy, and one of the goals of the Bolivarian Government is to reach the number of 4,000 Community Banks active in the communes.

The head of state proposed holding an action and planning workshop with the Banking System, to incorporate national public and private banking and financing funds “to take the big leap in 2026".

In this regard, he stressed that “the day must come when we can ensure that all the communes of the country and all the Community Circuits in an advanced state of construction have their active Community Bank, which is the territorial financial system for financing boys' uniforms, the production of crafts, food, businesses and a thousand things.”

He specified that “today we have 4 thousand 15 communes constituted and we have 1, 758 active Community Banks, that is to say about 40% to 45%”.

“We have taken important steps, it flourishes, it produces, it sells. The Community Economy is involved in everything, from producing quality food to producing handicrafts, textiles, technologies, public services and others,” he said.

This was stated in the National Hall of the Popular Government System, where he led a Balance of the management and actions of this National System, he pointed out that another goal is to achieve Bolivarian self-management in all communities.
