This Tuesday, December 9th, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the National Economic Council has been the best instrument of national consensus for the promotion of a self-sustainable and sustained economy.

He argued that “this economy meets our needs and that it aims to make Venezuela an exemplary exporter of the best in the world.”

“We are moving towards a self-sustainable, diversified and productive economy that already meets, solves and supplies national needs and aims, dear businesswomen and businesswomen, to turn Venezuela into a multidiverse export axis in terms of products and destinations,” he reiterated.

This was stated during a meeting with the National Council for Productive Economy, with the business sector, public and private banking, the Executive Office, sector vice-presidents and vice-presidents, presidents of chambers and business associations.
