President Maduro: The people are winning peace, in full exercise of National Sovereignty!

The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the importance of the activation of the Integral Defense Management Bodies (ODDI) of the states of Anzoátegui, Bolívar and Monagas, carried out this Saturday as part of Operations Independence 200.

“Activated at 00 o'clock in the Integral Defense Zone of Anzoátegui, Monagas and Bolívar; a vital corridor in the country that runs from the Caribbean Sea to the Orinoco and to the south of the border with Brazil. The Operation Independence 200 exercise was activated with all the military force deploying all its positions, the entire weapons system, and also activated the entire Bolivarian Militia, the entire popular military police force,” he said.

He stressed that these actions to mobilize the Homeland Defense Forces are being carried out to guarantee the right to peace, sovereignty and independence, in the face of threats from North American imperialism.

“Our people are winning peace because we have the right to peace, in full exercise of national sovereignty as a homeland, as an independent Republic, making progress in the defense of the right to life of all,” he emphasized.
