This Thursday, February 15, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the two great enemies of the Bolivarian Revolution are US imperialism and the bureaucratism within the institutions of the State that does not effectively serve the welfare of the people.

“North American imperialism, a historic enemy of the just causes of the Peoples (...), we resist, we fight and at every juncture we win,” he emphasized.

However, he stressed that the second enemy, “is criminal bureaucratism, indolence, negligence and criminal inertia, of indolent, negligent bureaucrats who simply don't hurt their country.”

During the working meeting he led with the 1x10 System of Good Governance, the head of State, said that these bureaucrats “don't hurt the lives of the People, they let it go, they mistreat and don't listen to the People. They turn to one side and do terrible damage to the Revolution from within and to our entire Homeland and People.”

In that sense, he added that on the one hand imperialism with its sanctions and persecution, “with its psychological campaign, its evil and perversity.”

“But with them we have learned to fight (...) that we were formed and forged in struggle in the streets of Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, Puerto La Cruz,” he said.

President Maduro stressed that the second enemy: bureaucratism, “is sometimes invisible, but very, very destructive, the negligent and indolent does not appear, it is hidden because of its bureaucratic nature, sometimes because they are infiltrators, they infiltrate to do harm with negligence and indolence.”
