President Maduro: The United States invades countries in the name of freedom

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the United States has generated coups d'etat in the name of freedom.

In this regard, he recalled the words of Commander Hugo Chávez, who said that the prophecy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar was unfortunately fulfilled about the imperialist character of the United States.

“In the name of freedom, the United States invaded Granada, Honduras with the coup against Zelaya, in Paraguay with the coup against Fernando Lugo, Iraq, Libya, for 20 years they destroyed Afghanistan. They have killed, they have massacred,” he emphasized.

He stressed that despite the dialogue negotiations , they have tried to kill him on several occasions. “They didn't comply with anything agreed in Qatar,” he said.
