The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that this Friday he will begin a criminal investigation for the forging of documents, as well as the usurpation of powers and constitutional functions against the extreme right leaders who sang “fraud” after the elections of last July 28.
From the state of La Guaira, during the inauguration of a majestic statue of Commander Hugo Chávez, the Head of State recalled that “any candidate, any party, when going to an electoral process, after it passes, has a period of 15 working days, meaning three weeks, if you have any evidence of an irregularity or you have something to protest, something to complain about, and that has happened many times in Venezuela, you go to the Electoral Hall of the Supreme Court and say: 'here I have the evidence. '”
However, the corresponding period passed “and their famous rich lawyers (the extreme right) did not exercise their constitutional legal remedies. They once again deceived opposition voters as Capriles deceived them, as Ramos Allup deceived them, as Julio Borges deceived them,” said the President.
He said that this time “we are not going to allow them to harm Venezuela's right to peace and the right to the future. We will guarantee the right to peace, institutionality, respect for public powers, laws. Law, Order, Justice and Peace!” , emphasized
