President Maduro to revolutionary women: When the Chavistas are on the street there is peace

“When the Chavistas are on the street, there is peace.” This was stated by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, when he received the revolutionary women who marched this Friday in support of the Revolution and its re-election.

“He said that our people have been able to win peace, because they have known how to win the streets. The streets belong to the people! Today we had a colorful and beautiful day, I congratulate women,” he said. President Maduro assured that women developed a gigantic mobilization that toured the center of the country's capital.

“We are with the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez movement who pointed out the path of dignity and patriotism and deep love for the time she had to live but above all with her partner José María España. That love is alive because patriotic women love their country, they want hope, peace, the future, and I am sure that Venezuelan women live with greater strength that conviction that what is coming for Venezuela is ever better: prosperity, progress, peace, progress. Venezuelan women must be the first to condemn the criminal violence of the guarimbas and to create awareness in their environment.”
