This Thursday, November 27, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged the soldiers and soldiers of the Bolivarian Military Aviation to remain “calm, alert and ready” for the defense of the Homeland against external threats.
“I ask you to always be undisturbed in your serenity, alert, ready and willing to defend our rights as a nation, as a free and sovereign homeland; I know that you will never fail Venezuela, I know that Venezuela is counting on you,” he said during the commemoration of the 105th anniversary of Bolivarian Military Aviation and the 33rd Heroic Deed of November 27, 1992.
He also stressed that if history required it, Venezuela would be prepared to declare itself once again as a Republic in arms. “Once again history would see history rise with the sacred banner of (Francisco De) Miranda and (Simon) Bolivar, with the yellow, blue and red of our eight stars, and we would have only one destiny: the victory of our dignity and history,” he added.
The head of state assured that nothing has ever succeeded in breaking the will of Venezuelans and Venezuelans to be free and sovereign. “Neither the blockade nor the sanctions nor this psychological war succeeded (...) Where they wanted to sow fear and division, will, courage and national unity grew stronger,” he said.
“The order is always given to preserve the immense blue of the Venezuelan sky (...) this worker who is here, this Pueblo President, I am proud to be the Commander in Chief of this Bolivarian Military Aviation and of the beautiful and powerful Bolivarian National Armed Force,” he said.
