The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) this Wednesday to carry out the corresponding actions to settle an attack against the electoral process and an attempted coup d'etat.

“I have appealed to the Constitution for peace in Venezuela and I have brought a contentious electoral remedy contained in the Constitution, in the Organic Law of Processes, in the Organic Law of the Supreme Court of Justice so that the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice can resolve this attack against the electoral process, this attempted coup d'etat, using the electoral process and clarify everything that needs to be clarified about these attacks,” said the President .

Speaking to the media, from the country's highest court, the Head of State warned all those who attack him and Venezuelan institutions around the world. “They know that they are going to be defeated, they are convinced that they are going to be defeated because we are going to triumph with the law and with the Constitution,” he emphasized.
