President Maduro: Venezuela has entered into an integral defensive capacity that we never had

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, stressed that during the last 22 weeks of 2025, the Venezuelan people have been preparing and training to defend their land, their sovereignty, their dignity and guarantee to future generations a free and sovereign Homeland.

At the swearing in of the Integral Bolivarian Community Commands, in Caracas, the Head of State asserted that the last 22 weeks have been taken advantage of, where the people went to the barracks, the barracks went to the town, more than 6 million 200 thousand militiamen were enlisted and activated.

“The People have carried out popular, military and police exercises and Venezuela has reached a point that we never had before in comprehensive defensive capacity. Our glorious Bolivarian National Armed Force has demonstrated its indissoluble union with the people of Venezuela, its discipline and its patriotic courage to defend every inch of Venezuelan land,” he said.

He also recalled that the popular processes constituting teachers, workers, high school students were activated, and the capacity of the 5,336 communal circuits was strengthened.

The National President stressed that on November 23, one of the most impactful National Popular Consultations ever took place, where the People chose two construction projects in their community. “The People demonstrated that they are empowered, that they have a maximum conscience and are ready to continue building the Homeland and in peace.”
