This Monday, March 25, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the country has “the most transparent, most technologically and most secure electoral system in the world.”
In that vein, he added that to date, 10 candidates for president and more than 35 political parties and movements have registered with the National Electoral Council (CNE). “There are right-wing, social-Christian, center-right (...) candidates and parties to throw at the roof. We are going to a campaign of debate and mobilization,” he said.
The National President noted that “this little campaign against Venezuela, which seeks to misrepresent it, is held by the surnames and their far-right allies in the United States (Bolsorano, Iván Duque)”.
“All that garbage in Latin America is trying to tarnish the political prestige of the Venezuelan electoral system. All of them spend it on that: Capriles, Leopoldo López, Machado, Ledezma (...), they all spend their time financing campaigns because they stole a lot. Where is Guido? How many millions did he take? Well, with that he finances campaigns from abroad. Whoever wants to know the truth about Venezuela should come!” , he emphasized.
