President Maduro: Venezuela is firm in the face of US media and military aggressions

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Tuesday, October 7, assured that the attempted terrorist attack against the Embassy of the United States, in Caracas, was intended to cause a serious accident, which would serve as a pretext to activate the second phase of psychological warfare and threats against Venezuela.

In that regard, he urged U.S. imperialism to proceed with investigations into the Bolivarian Government's complaint regarding plans to attack the facilities of the U.S. Embassy in Venezuela.

He stressed that such terrorist criminals are within U.S. territory and he hopes that they will be learned by the respective authorities.

The National President said that he has not given the order for the information to be public, but if necessary he will give it; since the security forces of the Venezuelan State have the evidence.

“For reasons of prudence, we prefer to first officially inform the United States government so that, trusting that they protect their personnel, here at their Embassy, they will carry out investigations and proceed with the immediate capture of the terrorists operating in their territory,” he said.

He stressed that “by thwarting this terrorist act, Venezuela demonstrates the effectiveness of security forces in combating criminal gangs that operate inside and outside Venezuelan territory.”

The statement was made at the Miraflores Palace, during the ceremony on the occasion of the award of the “Francisco de Miranda Order” award, in his “Generalissimo” Degree and First Class, to the plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera, who completed his diplomatic mission in Caracas.

“We are facing a false narrative. Every day we are dismantling the escalations of psychological warfare that the gringo press mounts from world press portals,” he said.

The head of state specified that “in these last eight weeks of criminal threat from the American empire, our people have been able to stand up. It is stronger morally, politically, psychologically and militarily. We want peace, so our plan is to exercise our sovereignty.”

“We want Bolivarian and Republican Peace, of Venezuela and of the Continent,” he ratified.
