President Maduro: Venezuela is free of threats and free of licenses

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the inauguration of the Room for Monitoring and Supervision of the Joint Venture Production Plan, ruled that Venezuela does not depend on foreign licenses.

He specified that “Venezuela is not going to be stopped by anything or anyone, neither threats nor measures, nor a license, Venezuela does not depend on a license (...) to live, to study. Venezuela is free of threats and free of licenses.”

He also stressed that learning left behind the sanctions, which, according to his statement, has resulted in the country having “greater technical experience, greater technical learning and in all points of view not only to sustain production, but to grow fully.”

For her part, the vice-president, Delcy Rodríguez, indicated that “we are doing daily monitoring and are connected to seven joint ventures that were affected by unilateral coercive measures, but as we have informed the country, the production plan of the oil industry continues its course without alteration.”

Finally, I salute the willingness of the oil industry 's workforce.
