President Maduro: Venezuela's biggest oil investors belong to BRICS countries

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that “the largest investors in the national oil and gas sector come from the BRICS countries” and if imperialism continues with the interference, the contracted operating licenses will be transferred to investors in this new center of world power.

“Our relationship with the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is set out in the government plan of the 7 Transformations and we are going to seek every avenue,” said the Head of State, who added that in 2023 he could not attend the summit of these countries because he was suffering from otitis but that he will be present at the next meeting in Russia, in the month of October 2024.
