President Maduro visited the Botanical Garden in the city of Algiers

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, accompanied by the first fighter, Cilia Flores, took a tour of the Botanical Garden, located in the city of Algiers, capital of Algeria.
In the spaces, the president planted a tree that symbolized the friendship between the two peoples, as well as the union between Africa and South America.
Through his account on the social network Telegram, the first national president wrote: “We irrigate the Venezuelan trees that we planted a few years ago, so that life and friendship between Africa and South America prosper.”
President Maduro expressed his joy at visiting the North African nation, and highlighted the hospitality and affection he has always received from the Algerian people, as well as the brotherhood on the part of the government. Both nations have deepened bilateral agreements since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez.
