President Maduro: We activated the Comprehensive Defense zones in Caracas and Miranda to continue winning peace

This Wednesday, September 15, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the activation of the Integral Defense Zones in Caracas and Miranda is to continue winning Peace and protecting the People in perfect popular-military-police unity.

“We are activating the Caracas comprehensive defense zone and the Miranda comprehensive defense zone (...) to defend mountains, coasts, schools, hospitals, factories, markets, communities and our people, to continue winning peace,” he said in a message posted on his Telegram channel.

In that regard, he recalled that Caracas and Miranda have a population of almost 7 million inhabitants. “Of good, hardworking and studious people. We are going to activate the entire military force of comprehensive popular-military-police defense, activated and united. We'll go from Catia to Barlovento, from Petare to La Pastora, as the song says, and from Caricuao to the Altos Mirandinos,” he said.

He also highlighted the importance of completing the comprehensive activation of all Community Militia Units and all Popular Bases for Integral Defense (BPI).

“All fully activated in unity, winning peace. Peace is our destiny, our blessing, and together we will continue to win,” he remarked.
