President Maduro: We are ready to vote because violence will not prevail in Venezuela

President Nicolás Maduro assured that the Constitutional elections for governors, deputies to the National Assembly and Legislative Councils will be held on May 25 despite the attempts of the extreme right financed by the United States.

“Here, if the election touches; rain, shine or lightning, there will be an election on May 25 and every time it touches, and that's why Plan República has been deployed throughout the country,” emphasized the head of state in the city of Barcelona, Anzoátegui state.

He stressed that last Monday 38 terrorists were captured, “half of them are foreigners who came to plant bombs and cause disasters in the country financed from abroad.”

“We are prepared to vote because violence will not prevail in Venezuela,” said the national president.
