President Maduro: We are still in the streets and are on our way to a historic victory on July 28!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, insisted that the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) remain alert and active in the face of the destabilizing plans of the extremist opposition sector that seeks to generate violence in the country.

“Alert Armed Forces, Popular Power, popular movement, ordinary men and women,” he said.

He emphasized that “no, they're going to take us off the streets. We are still on the streets because we are on our way to a historic victory on July 28.”

“In 15 days, we have captured two groups with plans of personal attack, both linked to the terrorist group Vente Venezuela. They are convicted and confessed,” he said.

The National President emphasized that this is “the terrorist movement called Vente Venezuela, it will be twenty terrorists, and the right-wing governments and the cowardly left are silent, they are unable to condemn attempted coups against the Revolution and peace.”

The approach was made by the head of state, with reference to the two individuals arrested this Monday, March 25, who were armed near the presidential platform where political activity took place due to the registration of their candidacy for the Presidential Elections before the National Electoral Council (CNE).

“They are silent in a complicit way,” he insisted during his words at the ceremony commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the release of Commander Hugo Chávez from the Prison of Dignity, in Miranda state.
