“We fear morals to call for union and consolidate the independence and recovery of our economy,” said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday, August 28, at the close of a new mobilization carried out in the city of Caracas, one month after his re-election as Head of State.

He specified that he will never tire of calling for dialogue, so that opposition and revolution sit at the same table. In that regard, he urged Venezuelans “We are going to unite, we are going to have a Venezuela of peace among all Venezuelans.”

He said that “I will never tire of calling for understanding, because we are right and history confirms it to us. We have the project of a country power, the People, the civic-military-police union and we are the incarnation of the sacred forces of the Fatherland and of Simon Bolivar (...) This people had the historic blessing of having a father and a teacher like our Commander Hugo Chávez Frías and like his daughters and sons we fear morals for what we have fought and for what we have resisted to call all Venezuelans to union in love for the Fatherland and the family (...) We fear the moral to call for union and consolidate the independence and recovery of our economy.”
