President Maduro: We have the best candidates for the National Assembly

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Tuesday that the revolutionary forces have the best candidates for the regional and legislative elections on May 25.

“We have good candidates, the best and the best candidates for all the governorates of the country, with the best plans, the best experience, the best capacity and they are people of the people (...) Now, we also have the best and the best candidates for the National Assembly,” said the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

From the José Félix Ribas room of the Teresa Carreño Theater, during a meeting with the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB), Maduro stressed that legislative proposals for the new term are being reviewed.

“I hope that high-level legal, legislative and political teams will make the consensus and present the parliamentary program for the period 2026-2031 to accelerate economic recovery, to strengthen democratic institutions, to install direct democracy as a form of operation and for many other things,” he emphasized.
