President Maduro: We have to move forward with the entire military structure (+renewal)

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Monday the renewal of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), as the backbone of the independence of the Fatherland and of the revolutionary process, in addition to being a guarantee of the democratic future.

During the 63rd broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, the Head of State stated that the FANB “has assumed in its doctrine, in its practice, in its language, in its manuals, the doctrine of expansive Popular Power, the doctrine of civic-military union”.

In this regard, he stressed that the Military Power is in a process of renewing and strengthening its command and organizational structure.

“We have to advance the entire military structure. I have launched four lines that are intended to promote with greater force the entire process of building the new Armed Force (...) that is truly an Armed Force of the People, for the People and with the People and is prepared under any circumstance, at any time, anywhere in the country, to guarantee territorial integrity, peace, the exercise of popular sovereignty and the full validity of the Constitution of the Republic,” he emphasized.
