President Maduro: We must listen to the great majorities about the direction he wants for the country

This Wednesday, February 19, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the People of Venezuela are in a process of accelerated changes and transformations, “we have many battle fronts that need to be cared for, worked on and deepened.”

This was stated at the Federal Legislative Palace, during the meeting he held with the National Comprehensive Commission for Constitutional Reform, where he noted that currently for the consultation, convening, debate and drafting of this reform, “we have infinite possibilities to inform people well.”

“To listen, process and correctly determine the direction that the great majority want for our people, for our history, the country,” he emphasized.

He said that the year 2025 “has started accelerating. Historical and geopolitical times are accelerating and the Bolivarian Revolution, as well as the Venezuelan People.”

The head of state, referring to the second proposal for the consultation, related to a new society, commented on the importance of promoting new real values “to be built for a human society, as Ali (First) said”.

“A society of equals, a sovereign, independent country with a powerful culture, education and powerful scientific development,” he said.
