President Maduro: We ratify our unwavering commitment to the Geneva Agreement

On Saturday the 58th anniversary of the signing of the Geneva Agreement, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reiterated the commitment of the National Government to this legal instrument to settle the dispute over the Essequibo Territory.

“We ratify our unwavering commitment to this legal instrument as the regulatory framework to defend and achieve a satisfactory solution for both parties through dialogue between Guyana and Venezuela, in compliance with the popular mandate of December 3, 2023, we will continue in defense of Guiana Esequiba,” wrote the head of state through his account on the social network X.

President Maduro published a statement shared by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
