The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a working day of the 1x10 System of Good Governance, called for strengthening the Local Committees for Food and Production (CLAP) as an organization of the Bolivarian Revolution to overcome and overcome the economic war.

“During the most difficult moment of the international economic blockade and the hoarding and boycott in the distribution of essential items to affect the people and we solved that situation with the CLAP and the People resisted eating yams, ocumo, mango and CLAP,” said the Head of State.

He reiterated the importance of this structure in the struggle for independence in the 21st century and ordered the Minister of Food, Carlos Leal Tellerías, to improve the processes and efficiency of this mission.

He also called on the Chavista leadership not to antagonize between the different structures of Popular Power. “I get reports that the Street Manager doesn't talk to the Head of CLAP, that doesn't benefit anyone, zero gossip, zero intrigue and zero confrontations,” he asked.
