President Nicolás Maduro orders rehabilitation of 1,136 Houses of Culture across the country

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his television program “With Maduro +” within the framework of vertex 4 of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission referring to infrastructure, announced the activation of the Military and Civil Community Brigades to rehabilitate 1,136 houses of culture throughout the country.
“The BRICOMILES will rehabilitate the Viva Venezuela House Network, which will consist of 1,136 spaces on a local, regional and national scale,” said the national president.
He asserted that it is necessary to make a map of the country's cultural infrastructure, which is being built with the help of governors and mayors.
“There is some infrastructure abandoned due to indolence and we have to go and recover it and hand it over to those who have the power of culture, who are the cultivators,” reiterated the Head of State.
As part of the actions taken by the Bolivarian Government to strengthen Venezuelan cultural knowledge, the Acoustic Shell of Simon Bolivar Park in Miranda state will be inaugurated in the coming days.
President Maduro also announced that the José Ángel Lamas Higher School of Music, located in Caracas, has been restored, an infrastructure in which one of the headquarters of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission will operate.
On the other hand, the Head of State announced the celebration of the 1st International Festival of Music, Song and Dance next May, with his first stop being the Capital Region (Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira). The day is expected to last 10 days.
