President Nicolás Maduro participates in the meeting of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace

President Nicolás Maduro Moros participates in the meeting of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, which brings together more than 400 guests from all strategic sectors of the country and where the participants organized themselves in four working groups to analyze the siege against Venezuela by the United States.

The Head of State is accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Deputy Cillia Flores; the President of the National Assembly, D. r. Jorge Rodríguez; the first vice-president of the National Assembly, deputy Pedro Infante; and the second vice-president of the National Assembly, deputy América Pérez.

The National Council for Sovereignty and Peace was installed with an attendance of 434 guests, reflecting the wide participation of various sectors of national life. The attendees included 18 representatives from the university sector, 48 from the political sector, 18 cultors and intellectuals, 17 from the religious sector, 63 from the National Assembly, 214 from the economic sector and 56 from the social sector.
