President Nicolás Maduro said he was in a battle and a permanent victory for the People

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, drawing a parallel with the biblical legend of David against Goliath, assured that he will fight with anyone to fulfill the commitment he has made to the Venezuelan people.

“It's all over, fascism. I, Nicolás Maduro, am David, son of the People of Venezuela and I am going with God, with Chávez and Bolivar, today and always, in a permanent battle, in permanent victory,” he said during his swearing in for the period 2025-2031.

He also confirmed that this Friday, January 10, he assumed a new presidential term, swearing to fulfill his commitment to be a Head of State of the People and for the People.
