President of PDVSA highlights Absolute Independence Plan to overcome sanctions

The president of Petrleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón, stressed this Friday that the best way to overcome illegal sanctions is with the Absolute Independence Plan promoted by the Bolivarian Government, led by the head of state, Nicolás Maduro.

During the activation of the Situational Control and Monitoring Room of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons by the Dignitary, Obregón explained that this plan is based on the men and women who work in the country's oil companies.

He specified that production is maintained, thanks to the efforts and support of investors “who have been accompanying the company (PDVSA) and with the activities carried out by each of the workers in the field.”

“Today we have the start of activity of one of the drilling channels that provide new barrels to oil production with that expertise of the workers, we confirm that we do not depend on any license. We depend on the effort we make as Venezuelan workers,” he said.
