The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, highlighted the military's commitment to defending the country against external threats and to ensuring its future and promised to reinforce the nuclear triad and continue strengthening the Army and Navy.

At the event on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the head of state said that, in recent years, this traditional event has been celebrated “with a special sense of pride and gratitude” to those who, “with courage and courage, with love for Russia and its people”, carry out their duty and risk their lives.
