President of the AN Jorge Rodríguez: This is the time of the unit and the time of the meeting

The president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez, during the installation of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, reiterated that “this is the time for unity and the time for the meeting” regardless of the differences between sectors and political groups.

“This National Council, in addition to a secretariat that is now embodied in those of us who were working during the legislative period 2021-2025 in the National Dialogue Commission that came out of the National Assembly and that went to the whole country to seek proposals and ideas of agreement from all and everyone, that is why the Board of Directors of the AN is there,” Rodríguez said.

“With freedom, we achieve a peace without slavery, the businessmen and the workers, the cultivators and the fishermen, the university students, the scientists, the peasants, the 53 political parties of the 56 political parties that exist in Venezuela who, without any arguments, seek to distance them, but quite the contrary, this is the time for unity. This is the time for the meeting, to shake our hands, this is the time to tell the whole world, beyond what military political party we are. women and men of peace,” said Rodríguez.

He also welcomed the large attendance and call for this meeting where we will present the manifesto in defense of the sovereignty and peace of Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean as a territory of peace.

“Beyond the declaration, beyond our of our approaches, ideas and reflections to advance in a true organic meeting for the defense of peace and sovereignty and just,” he said.

The president also especially asked diplomats to “advance in a process that accompanies them” all over the planet, around the world, in all countries to show the truth about Venezuela.

“The truth of Venezuela can be that of a country that, despite being besieged, works and fights for peace and for its normality, because there are many fallacies that have been invented, many are treated, there are many lies, many are the false testimonies that have been raised and we are going to defend in all legal instances of the world the truth of Venezuela, the law, but it assists us in the face of imperial aggression and also the regional chapters, we will be inviting them to meetings to the different sectors. to be able to exchange with all of you the ideas and initiatives you have,” said Deputy Jorge Rodríguez.
