President of the AVEX: Venezuelan non-oil exports reach 24 countries of the European Union

The president of the Venezuelan Association of Exporters (AVEX), Gustavo González Velutini, this Monday, October 6, specified that non-oil Venezuelan exports reach the markets of 24 of the 27 countries that make up the European Union (EU).

During an interview with Unión Radio, he reported that in the first quarter of this year, Europe surpassed the United States as the main destination for Venezuelan non-oil exports.

González Velutini also highlighted that the quality of the goods produced in the country allows access to these European markets and assured that one of the most important challenges of the export sector is to transfer services or processes to geographically close locations to reduce costs and time.

“Venezuela exports to 24 of the 27 countries of the European Economic Community because our products are of quality and we are considered a reliable supplier,” he emphasized.

The representative of the country's exporters expects exports to experience a slight growth at the end of this year compared to 2024.
