President of the National Assembly announces Parliamentary Meeting of the Greater Caribbean in Venezuela

The president of the National Assembly (LAN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that Venezuela will soon host the Parliamentary Meeting of the Greater Caribbean, a space convened to coordinate actions in defense of peace in the face of attempts at neocolonial imposition.
Rodríguez announced the decision through his Telegram channel, stressing that this initiative represents a step forward in guaranteeing the right to self-determination and sovereignty of Peoples.
During his statement, he also highlighted the importance of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, constituted on September 16, which promoted the formation of 25 regional and 22 sectoral bodies, with more than 30 programmatic consensus.
The second vice-president of the Parliament, América Pérez, specified that the invitation to the meeting is aimed at bringing together Caribbean legislators to jointly analyze the threats facing independent nations in the region.
