President of the PSUV: I would like to have excellent relations with the Christian Church

This Monday, August 19, the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, assured that he would like to have “the same excellent relations that I have with the Evangelical Church and the Catholic Church.”

This was stated in the afternoon of this Monday, August 19, in the middle of a press conference held after a meeting with the National Directorate of the Red Awning and the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB), while stressing that he let the apostolic nuncio know, a week ago, that he has excellent relations with the Evangelical Brotherhood Church and would like to have the same relations of respect, communication and faith with the Catholic Church.

“I was born as a Catholic child, was baptized, took my first communion and learned from my mother to be a Christian.”
