President Rodríguez: Venezuela has undertaken an institutional review process to strengthen the functioning of the State

In Venezuela, progress is being made in a series of reforms to advance national reconstruction, said the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during her participation in the UN General Assembly.

During her remarks, the president indicated that the first reform being carried out is that of the country's legal system.

“Venezuela has undertaken a process of institutional review to strengthen the functioning of the State, which not only national and international investors need, but also for our citizens,” he stressed while stressing that “the reform of justice and its systems is urgent.”

In the same way, he stressed that the second reform is aimed at ensuring the responsible and full exercise of politics. In this regard, he stressed that institutions will guarantee real conditions of participation for all political forces in the country.

“Venezuela will guarantee real conditions of participation for all political forces in the country. Democracy is not measured by the existence of elections, democracy is measured by the quality of the competition that precedes those elections,” he stressed.

In this regard, he pointed out that Venezuela must abandon the path that allowed extremism and intolerance to prevail over democratic and peaceful coexistence.
