The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stated that the presidents of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping; of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko; and of Cuba, Miguel Díaz Canel, have expressed their deep solidarity with the constant threats of the North American empire over Venezuela, in greetings sent on the occasion of his birthday last Sunday.

He indicated that the message received from China “was very convincing (...) And in these moments that Venezuela has experienced, the China-Venezuela relationship is being tested extensively. This moment has been to deepen and strengthen it on all fronts of work today, so that letter from President Xi Jinping confirms, paragraph by paragraph, written in handwriting, his solidarity and support for all of Venezuela.”

Regarding Belarus, the Venezuelan president said that "Lukashenko is a great leader of the whole world, of Europe (...) With him we also maintain a close relationship of permanent coordination. Belarus knows that it has Venezuela and I know and we know that we have Lukashenko,” he said.

He said to Vladimir Putin “it was tremendous writing in handwriting and it's impressive (...) He and I have met about ten times.”
