PSUV and Communist Youth League of China strengthen cooperation in Shanghai

A delegation from the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) held a meeting in Shanghai on Monday with the secretary of the Communist Youth League of China, Shangguan Jian, to confirm the commitment to consolidate a prosperous shared destiny.

The information was released by the Vice President of International Affairs of the PSUV, Rander Peña, on his Telegram channel, where he stated that through cooperation between the red curtain and the Communist Party of China, it is planned to “achieve the greatest possible amount of happiness for our peoples, in which the modernization of our countries is a concrete reality available to all Venezuelans”.

The Venezuelan delegation expressed President Nicolás Maduro's commitment to increasing the exchange of experiences between the two political organizations. “We agreed with the Secretary to take actions for the present and the future,” Peña said.

During his speech at the meeting, the leader of the PSUV pointed out that “a multipolar and pluricentric world is only possible if there is a strong China, not only in the world but in Latin America and the only guarantee that China will have a strong presence and over time is a strengthened Venezuela (...) Venezuela's luck is married to China's luck in Latin America”.

For this reason, he emphasized, it is that “the United States attacks Venezuela, because attacking Venezuela it attacks China, attacking Venezuela it attacks the entire effort to build a multipolar and pluricentric world, that's why we come here, undoubtedly to learn from its successful model, but we also come to continue strengthening ties and brotherhood between our countries”.
