PSUV structures carried out a house-to-house deployment in Maracay

The structures of the
United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), together with deputies to the National Assembly (AN),
were deployed on a house-to-house day, in the 13 de Enero and
Lomas de Sinaí communities of Maracay, Aragua state, both belonging to the
Socialist Agrotourism Commune El Legado del Comandante Maracay Sur.
During the activity, led by the second
vice-president of the National Parliament, América Pérez, they had the opportunity
to directly collect information on cases of social care and
public services.
They also had the opportunity to participate
in a popular assembly where residents presented and socialized the
projects for the self-construction of housing that have been implemented in their
territories, with the support of the regional and municipal governments.
“In this space, we must highlight the
importance of female empowerment in the construction of the Homeland,
so we thank our women for their love, effort and leadership in
consolidating these projects for the construction of decent housing,
” said Pérez.
He emphasized the need to reinforce and
promote popular organization through communes and communal councils,
to defend and build the country, in connection with the current process of debating the organic law of
the communes.
“How nice it is to come to this community and
learn about the wonderful experience they have of construction, which can
contribute so much to such an important law; it is the law that will assign the future of
our country, it is the law that will shape the dreams and aspirations
of each one of us,” he said.
The meeting with the community was also attended by the liaison of the National Directorate of the PSUV Aragua, Ricardo Molina, the president of the Legislative Council of the Bolivarian State of Aragua (CLEBA), José Arias, and the mayor of the Girardot municipality, Rafael Morales.
