Public Ministry requested the arrest of four prosecutors for corruption

Four prosecutors from the Public Ministry (MP) were arrested for their involvement in various acts of corruption, according to information issued by the entity.
Una of those arrested is Johanna Elyouri, prosecutor 9 of the state of Lara, who will be charged with the crimes of deliberate delay or omission of functions and abuse of authority.
“This official arbitrarily and ignoring the circulars signed by Dr. Tarek William Saab (which require strict compliance with the Constitution and the Law, together with the respective coordinators of each tax office with the superiority) tried criminally: to carry out the arbitrary eviction of people who were living in the sector El Ujano (east of Barquisimeto, Lara),” Attorney General Tarek William Saab wrote on his Instagram account.
Mientras in both Caracas, three prosecutors identified as Lenyn Puello, Deide Cabezas and Sabelle Sosa were arrested and charged with deliberate delay or omission of functions and agavillation.
“These former officials requested money from a citizen in order to disassociate him in an investigation that was being carried out by the aforementioned tax office,” Saab wrote.
