At the rally held this Sunday in the city of Caracas by the Venezuelan people, the Deputy Minister of Latin America, Rander Peña, demanded the unconditional and immediate release by the United States (USA) of our president Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores.

“Yesterday we witnessed a noise that covered all of Caracas and we didn't know what was going on, but something said that the enemy was hurting us, was attacking us and they believed or thought that this military action was enough and we would remain silent and we would chicken out and intimidate us, but no, it's quite the opposite. What we saw at 2:00am with a killer missile we have experienced hour after hour converting it into force and that force must accumulate more and more so as not to faint for a single minute,” Peña said.

In this regard, he stated that “liberation must be immediate and unconditional, because Nicolás Maduro Moros is the constitutional president of Venezuelan women and we want him to be back and with us, just like Cilia Flores.”

He added that yesterday the Head of State “sent us a sign of strength and courage (...) and with that gesture he let us say that he was not giving up and that he was with us and that we, as a Venezuelan people, are doing well. Maduro can't wait for the people to rescue you!”

Peña said that “the United States believed that with this attack and kidnapping of the president the Bolivarian project will crumble and the answer is no, because this project is each one of us.”
