Reform of the Popular Communication Law will deepen the organization from the ground up

The reform of the Law on Communication of People's Power will deepen the organization from the grassroots of the people, said the deputy Juan Carlos Alemán, during the public consultation for the amendment of this regulation.
The parliamentarian, who is president of the Permanent Committee on Popular Power and Communication, highlighted some of the proposals presented by popular communicators, in the consultation that took place at the Bolivian Museum.
According to a press release from the Legislative Branch, Alemán highlighted the proposal to deepen the Communal State, as an expression of popular organization. He indicated that this law is being worked on in a consensual manner, with contributions from different sectors of communication.
It is proposed that this law be the vanguard to consolidate the leading participation of popular power, added the parliamentarian. He explained that this reform of the law will make it possible to advance in the strengthening of communal councils and communes. “Community media must adapt to the model of self-government.”
