The director of the Ministry of Popular Power of Ecosocialism in Aragua, Yulianna Ramos, reported that in the face of recent fire incidents in the Henri Pittier National Park, the hiking route known as “Cerro del Hotel Maracay” was preventive closed.
This is a section that is undergoing maintenance work on firewalls in order to protect the ecosystem and ensure the safety of citizens who come daily to carry out sports and recreational activities.
“A preventive closure has been carried out in this area to carry out the care and maintenance of firewalls during the dry period. We will take advantage of these first days of January to ensure the improvement of these spaces, thanks to an articulated work between INPARQUES Aragua and the national, regional and local governments,” said the official.
