Registration of insurance companies began to operate as alternative banking channels

The Superintendency of Insurance Activity (SUDEASEG) announced the requirements that must be set out by companies in the sector that aspire to register as alternative marketing channels in banking institutions.

According to information released through the agency's official networks, the collections are protected by article 11 of the regulations governing these marketing channels.

Interested companies must be duly registered with the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN).

Another requirement is to “submit a letter signed by the legal representative of the financial institution, expressing your decision to act as an alternative channel for the insurance company”.
