Renné Rivas scored his first goal for Al Taawoun and advances to the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions

Venezuelan right-back Renné Rivas scored a goal in the victory of his Al Taawoun, who won his way to the quarterfinals of AFC Champions League Two, after beating Al Wakrah on penalties.

The match went to extra time 1-1, with the Venezuelan who broke the tie in the 112th minute, however Taawoun failed to keep the difference and at 120'+4 Wakrah scored 2-2.

So the match was defined on penalties, with the Criollo club winning 4-3.

This is the first goal for Rivas with the Saudi club in 7 games played in Asia's second club competition.
