The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and the Minister of Popular Power for Public Works, Juan Ramírez Luces, supervised rehabilitation work on urban infrastructure in Simón Rodríguez, in Ciudad Tiuna, which were affected by the US attack that culminated in the kidnapping of the Venezuelan constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro, and the first lady, deputy Cilia Flores.

These reconstruction and waterproofing tasks in homes and public spaces are carried out under the direction of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

As part of the Community Roof Plan, the team from the Mayor's Office of Caracas, in addition to taking a comprehensive approach to homes, also led a popular assembly to share and care for families who live in this sector of the capital.

Mayor Meléndez emphasized in her Instagram post that the entities involved in this day will remain deployed to provide timely care to homes violated by the attack.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Public Works assured in his account on the same social network that, thanks to the joint work between the Mayor's Office of Caracas and the Government of the Capital District (GDC), significant improvements will be guaranteed in the capital city for the welfare of the people.
