Report reveals US cyberattack plans to hold China accountable

The Government of the People's Republic of China revealed in a report that the United States (USA) generates disinformation campaigns against the Asian country in terms of cybersecurity.

The spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, called for the cessation of imperial actions to discredit China, and recalled that her Government previously published two other reports that revealed that the alleged operation “Volt Typhoon” is in fact an international ransomware group.

At a press conference, the official said that the US strategy would seek to receive more congressional budgets and government contracts, and stressed that “the latest report has brought to light some amazing facts (...)
The United States used advanced technical methods to blame other countries in launching cyberattacks,” he criticized.

He explained that the North American country “inserted strings in other languages, such as Chinese, to confuse traceability attribution analysis and blame other countries” and takes advantage of its advantages in terms of underwater optical fiber to launch massive and systemic cybersurveillance and espionage on a global scale.
