Ricardo Sánchez: National Government guarantees that more than 350,000 young people enter universities

Through the National Entry System (SNI), the National Government guarantees that more than 350,000 young people who will graduate from secondary education can study at the university level in the different houses of studies distributed throughout the country, said the Minister of University Education, Ricardo Sánchez.

In an interview replicated by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Sánchez indicated that future high school graduates have more than 6,044 study opportunities at 175 public and private universities.

In this regard, the minister assured that up to this Wednesday 317,000 young people have enrolled in the SNI, which represents 93% more than expected figures.

Sánchez also highlighted that this year the National Executive created two new houses of studies focused on the area of Sciences and Communes, with 12 new study opportunities. He stressed that at the Humberto Fernández-Morán University of Science, the National Training Programs are aimed at the future with careers such as “Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, Computational Chemistry, Electromedicine, Nuclear Physics and Robotics”.
