Officials from the National Risk Management System (SNGR) were deployed in an immediate response operation to the recent rains and floods that have affected the town of Cabrutta, in the state of Guárico.

Officials from the Operational Zone for Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (ZOEDAN) Guárico and the Regional Directorate of Civil Protection carried out, on the front line, an exhaustive approach and monitoring in the impacted areas, to identify the needs of the population and provide the required assistance.

The increase in the flow of the Orinoco River caused severe flooding in the town of Cabrutta, where merchants were already affected.
