Rodríguez: On the Day of Indigenous Resistance, we recognize the courage of indigenous peoples

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, paid tribute to the struggles of the original peoples who defended the national territory of the Spanish Empire 532 years ago.

“On the Day of Indigenous and Anti-Imperialist Resistance, we recognize the honor, struggle and courage of indigenous peoples in the face of colonialism,” Rodríguez highlighted from his Telegram channel.

He expressed pride in the ancient heritage of freedom and rebellion, which is an example for today's challenges.

“Today we continue to consolidate with our fierce determination to be sovereign and to live free from modern guardianships and colonialism. Long live indigenous peoples!” , he pointed out.
